Merida! the W I L D ish princess

 

	Name: Merida
	Age: 16 years old
	Movie: Brave (2012)
	Daily Activities: Merida learns to act      like a princess. But once a month, she rides horse and does archery and acts freely, which is not like a princess.
	Good points: She has an active personality, and she expresses her thoughts honestly. Also, I liked when Merida told all the people in the castle that from now on, marring someone or loving should not come out from giving forces, and that it should follow their heart.
	Bad points: Sometimes, her active personality makes her hard to act like a princess that her mother wants her to be like.
	Other: Merida didn't fall in love with any males. She said that loving each other should be free and that marrige shouldn't be forced.  (Appearence) She has a fair skin, round face, light freckles, blue eyes, and long curly red hair

When I was watching this movie, I agreed to what Merida thought of her situation of following all the rules as a princess, which are very strict, and being not able to act freely...

After all, this is a great movie!! -EXTREMELY RECOMMEND :)

Rapunzel.. who are you??

	Name: Rapunzel
	Age: 18 years old
	Movie: Tangled
	Daily activities: Rapunzel lives in a tall tower, and she can't get out of it. She sings, puts her hair down the castle for mother Gothel to come up everyday.
	Good points: Rapunzel's magical hair has unusually high tensile strength for bearing loads. It’s hard to break, though it’s light weight and easily cutted, while also used to wrap around objects, even small ones like her pet chameleon’s tail.
	Bad points: She thought males were all monstrous fanged creatures. Rapunzel believed everyone in the world was dark, selfish, and cruel, out to take advantage of her and her hair’s power.
	Other: Eyes: Green Hair: Golden Blond Other out looks: A spattering of freckles on her nose. Relationships with boys: Fall in love with Yujin and had marrige with him.

Adults! You can learn from us

      I think the adults can learn from childrens. These days, childrens learn a lot from adults. Well, they have to. Before I watched this video "Adora Svitak What Adults Can Learn from Kids", I didn't even think about adults learning from childrens. However, after I watched it, I kept thinking that adults can absolutely learn from childrens. If the childrens learn from the adults, why can't the adults learn from them? I have several reasons supporting why I believe that adults should learn from childrens. Adults should learn from children because childrens have more curiosity, and they don't follow the prejudice that adults do.

      First of all, childrens has more curiosity. Adults thinking and minds of something is always in a limited frame because they already know about what this is, what that is and what that should be like. However, childrens are different. They don't have every knowledge about everything, and they have a lot to learn more about. So because of children's some ignorance, their thinking map is very wide. They can imagine of anything they think it should be like. In my experience, I thought Santa Clause was in every countries because I didn't get a Christmas present when I was in third grade in Canada. So I asked my mother. "Mom, I thought of a lot of reasons why Santa Clause couldn't come and give me presents. Well first, his Rein Deers might caught a fever because Santa's factory is in the freezing North Pole. Also, some Roudolph's legs could have got a broken leg. Or mabye, the presents could have might have got robbed too. Who knows I cried or not when I was sleeping?" However, my mother said that there is no reason why Santa didn't gave me present. So adults should learn curiosity from childrens.
     Secondly, childrens are purity. They believe anything their parents tell them. Also, childrens believe anything that is related to their parents. To illustrate, there are many crimes of kidnap. Usually when the adults kidnap, they tell childrens there are trying to kidnap that their parents called me to pick you up and take you to somewhere. Then, those childrens will follow that adult because that he or she stated "your parents said.." to them. Even though this is a bad case, from this adults can learn two things from childrens. Adults can learn not to kidnap, and children's purity personality.
      In conclusion, I think adults can learn a lot of things such as curiosity and children's purity. They should not think that only childrens can learn from them.

30day challenges

      Today in writing class, we learned about a man name Matt Gutts, and his 30- day challenges. Matt thought that his life felt like he is stuck in a rut. So he wanted to do things he wanted to in 30 days. Matt wrote a novel, walked 10,000 steps everyday, and didn't use Twitter for 30 days. We watched a video of Matt talking about his 30 day challenges. From that video, I thought of my challenges to change my habits.

      First of all, I will read fifteen pages of a book everyday. In order to achieve my first goal,  I am going to borrow books from the library. There are many times I could read. On my resting time, self- study, and second self- study time too. However, because I want to rest on my resting times, I will read the fifteen pages on the first self- study. If I couldn't read all fifteen pages because of my homeworks or other studing things, I can read it on the second self- study. In case some- day I might not read fifteen pages, if I don't read, I will read during the time I am using my phone.
      Second, I will go to bed before twelve o'clock. I have several steps to sleep before twelve o'clock. I will brush my teeth and wash my-self before I do my first self- study. Then, I will be able to go to bed right after I get back from seond self- study. Also, I should sleep as soon as I get back from second self- study, and not talk with my room mates if I want to sleep before twelve. However, if I didn't take a shower even until the time I should go to bed, I will just do it the next morning's rest time.
      Third, I will take the stairs if it is less than five floors. To gain my goal of taking the stairs as possible, I will strart with the easiest step, going down from the cafeteria to my dorm room. Next, if that gets easy, I will go up from my dorm to the cafeteria. At last, if the second step gets easy for me too, I am going to try goig up from the first floor to my dorm room. However, I don't think it will be possible for me.
      In concluaion, I will try my best to keep and execute my three 30 day challenges, which are taking stairs, reading, and sleeping before twelve o'clock. I hope you make a 30 day challenge after you read my writing.

Self- Intro..

Self Introduction

      Hello everybody! My name is Lucy An. I will introduce my- self to you today. I'm going to be in seventh grade this year, and I'm in GLPS right now. I will introduce about my- self shortly, and start talking about things I want to share. I live in Seoul, and I have a fifteen years old brother. Well, as the many other brother and sisters, we don't really get along well. As you all know, this blog is my own blog, so I will keep uploading posts. Also, I want to become more close with you guys by acting in this blog. Now, I have several things to share with you about me.

      First of all, my dream is to be a reporter. It is because I like going to new places and learn new things. If I become a reporter, I want to go to many other countries in the world and do a lot of coverages about things that people has ignorance of. In order to be a reporter, I am practicing to get my pronounciation loud and clearly by reading newspapers out loud constantly. Then, I want to become a famous reporter. If you become popular or have some cases, I might meet you in the future to get some news!

      Second, I went to Canada, British Columbia near Vancouver to study abroad when I was ten years old. To be specific, I lived in Port Coquitlam. I lived in the big three floor town house in Port Coquitlam. My brother home- stayed for almost two years before my mom and I went to Canada. I missed him a lot when I could'nt see him. Back to my story in Canada, I went to James Park Elementary school. Even though I was a third grader in Korea, I was in fourth grade and fifth grade when I was in Canada, because Canada's

school starts in September. If someone asks me about if I liked living in Canada more than Korea, I think I will say that there are many good and bad things to both of them. However, except for being far away with my father and not being able to eat a lot of Korean foods, I think living in Canada was better for me.

      Finally, I will introduce my favorite singer(dancer) Bigbang! I really love Bigbang. As many of you might know, Bigbang's fan club's name is VIP. It's because Bigbang is a very important person! I started being Bigbang's fan starting from when I was in first grade. My cousin sister was a VIP, so listned to Bigbang's songs a lot. Then, I thought that their songs are very good! That is how I became Bigbang's fan. There are several songs that I extremely like, which are Fantastic Baby, Monster, and G-Dragon's Crayon, One of a kind, and That XX. I wanted to post a picture of Bigbang, but I don't have any time for that.
